Can I Recycle My Print Copy of Wildcat?

You can now

Weber State is well known for its sustainability efforts. In fiscal year 2019, WSU saved more than $1.9 million on its electric, natural gas and water bills, and reduced natural gas consumption by 32% and electricity consumption by 30% (when compared to a 2007 baseline). The university is consistently named to The Princeton Review’s Guide to Green Colleges, the Sierra Club’s Cool Schools list and the Arbor Day Foundation’s Tree Campus USA list.

In keeping with Weber State’s strong commitment to sustainability, the print edition of Wildcat is now printed on uncoated paper that contains 30% recycled content. In addition, the paper is processed chlorine free, which is environmentally preferable.
