From Caregiving to Coding, Moms Can!
Tech-Moms, a RiseNext course that has partnered with Weber State, is designed to help women gain skills, knowledge, and connections they need to thrive in the digital economy. The nine-week program, which starts Feb 13, will introduce participants to basic coding and development. In addition, mothers who participate will have access to a network of passionate professionals committed to diversity in the tech industry.
The nine-sessions will run from mid February to mid April. Tech-moms is held on Saturdays, allowing busy participants to enhance their knowledge with minimal impact on work. Childcare is available as needed.

Whether you’re looking to advance your career by transitioning to tech or rejoining the work world after taking time off, moms are invited to apply. The following are program eligibility requirements:
- Be a Utah resident who is at least 21 years old
- Identify as a woman
- Have at least two years of work experience (in any field)
- Commit to attend all nine class sessions.
Participants are asked to pay a minimal fee of $400 to participate. All eligible women are encouraged to apply, however, and can learn about scholarships and sponsorships.
