Studying Social Work at Weber State

A social work degree prepares students for a fulfilling career making differences in people’s lives and in communities. This program is a good fit for students who want to help groups and people build healthy social environments. Weber State also offers a master's degree in social work with traditional and advanced pathways.

Social Work Highlights

The Weber State University Social Work Club (WSUSW) gives you the opportunity, as a social work major, to engage with the local community through social service and scholarly projects. The club is open to all social work majors and meets throughout the year.

Beyond the Classroom

The social work major includes a fieldwork component, where you’ll spend 200 hours getting supervised, hands-on experience in an approved social service agency.
