Studying Applied Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Weber State

Weber State’s Applied Politics, Philosophy and Economics accelerated bachelor's degree brings together three complementary analytical frameworks which combine to train civil servants and business leaders who deeply understand the interconnections between ethics, economics, and policy. 

Applied Politics, Philosophy and Economics Highlights

Students will graduate with an understanding of political science, philosophy, and economics, and the ability to integrate these disciplines to analyze complex social, economic, and political issues through the application of theoretical concepts to real-world challenges. 

Beyond the Classroom

Students will learn marketable skills in policy analysis, data interpretation, ethical decision-making that is relevant for careers in government, public policy, business, and graduate studies.

You'll develop strong analytical and critical thinking skills, along with a deep commitment to ethical reasoning. Graduate prepared for responsible decision-making in your future career in government, business, or public policy.  Students will declare either the Political Economy cohort or the Campaigns, Legislation, and Lobbying cohort.

Graduate prepared for responsible decision-making in your future career in government, business, or public policy. You can also often pursue law degrees, or graduate studies.
