Learn and Apply Leadership Skills Outside the Classroom!
This is an initiative that will help you better demonstrate how you have been a leader at Weber State. Recent data show that employers are looking for evidence of soft skills learned and practiced while in college. Participation in Excellence in Leadership will provide rich evidence of that learning.
The Emerging Leaders program is an organization that helps the chosen applicants develop their skills to become more effective contributors to Weber State, the community, and within personal relationships. The accompanying tuition waiver is awarded based on participation in the program. Application are due March 15.
Project Lead: Above The Line
Project LEAD is is an annual two day leadership conference. Combining keynote speakers, faculty presentations and engaged learning experiences, Project LEAD is all about discovering your inner leader and helping to gain the experience and knowledge to cultivate your natural leadership style. This will be two days filled with interactive and informative workshops and a chance to expand your leadership skills.
