Hello Faculty and Staff!

Unfortunately, if you are reading this message, you have fallen for Weber State's new internal phishing test. But, don't worry, you're not alone!

In the world, many bad actors want nothing more than to take advantage of unsuspecting victims. These bad actors achieve this goal by sending out phishing emails to potential victims. The purpose of phishing is to have a victim click on a link that will direct the person to a malicious website, download a malicious file, or, in this case, take the user to a website that appears just like their organization's login page. A bad actor would then use the login credentials submitted by the user to gain access to sensitive information. We did not save any login information submitted by you in this phishing test, so your password is still secure.

We have created our own Internal Phishing Test to help our users gain experience and the skills needed to identify what a phishing email looks like and how to deal with them. As we are an educational institute, we believe creating a safer campus is through education. Therefore, we have created a User Security Awareness training found in the eWeber portal.

Please follow the link below, which will enroll you directly in the required Phishing training lessons.
