Google has recently made a change to Google Maps. The service now checks for a Google login as soon as a Maps web page is visited instead of allowing you to view the page as a guest until you do something that requires an account (e.g. saving a map route). This is why users are now getting error messages saying “You do not have access” when navigating to a web page with an embedded Google Map.
Google Maps has always been disabled on the Weber Google domain.
How to Access Google Maps
To access Google Maps, open a private or incognito browser window or sign out of your WSU account. Contact your department's support CTC or the IT Service Desk if you have additional questions.
Google Reviews are linked to Google Maps. Because Google Maps is disabled on our domain you cannot leave reviews attached to your WSU account.
