WHY WEBER STATE?

While working on my undergrad at Weber State, I played soccer on the WSU women’s soccer team. I graduated with a Bachelor degree in Business Multimedia/Technologies in 2016, and then moved to Orlando, Florida to work at Walt Disney World as part of the Disney College Program. I completed the program in 2017 and moved back to Utah to work at Oz Marketing as a graphic designer and account representative, where I spent the next few years. I knew I eventually wanted to end up back at Disney, but knew to end up where I wanted to be within the company. I'd need a Master of Business Administration.

I’ve always loved school, and knew in the back of my head that I’d love to one day pursue an MBA for personal and career growth.

The Goddard School has incredible teachers that come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. This, combined with small class sizes, allow students to have a more personalized experience. I also highly value the work experience that comes from my fellow students. Many have years of experience in different work environments, and they share their knowledge in class. These discussions related topics from class to the real world and made each class more valuable.

Andrew Wright is an incredible asset to Weber State. He is not only personable, but will do anything and everything he can to help students achieve their goals (and have fun while doing it.) I have tremendously enjoyed working with him, and look forward to continuing to work with him while finishing up the MBA program.

ADVICE

---

The Goddard School is a wonderful place to pursue any type of business. Make sure you don’t overload yourself so much that you are able to learn as much as you can from each class. Take your time and absorb as much from the teachers’ experience and knowledge as you can.
