Career pathways in just 2 years

Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs at Weber State University (WSU) provide students an edge in preparing them to succeed in the workforce. CTE programs not only prepare students for good paying jobs, they help build a pathway with both career and academic goals in mind.

High school CTE students come to WSU well prepared to begin the rigorous college level work because most have already taken several Concurrent Enrollment or Early College classes to jump start their academic portfolio. These programs assist students in achieving their individual academic and career goals.

WSU serves as both the university and community college for this area, therefore, applied science programs remain a primary component of the mission of the university. CTE the applied sciences and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) programs  work in harmony to  offer technical education programs that are academically rigorous while building the technical skills necessary to gain successful employment in industry.
