Studying International Business Economics at Weber State

Weber State’s international business economics major prepares you to work in multinational business organizations inside and outside the U.S. We offer professional experiences, foreign language skills and study abroad opportunities.

International Business Economics Highlights

Weber State offers Utah’s first bachelor’s degree in business to include a language requirement. You will use your language skills to get boots-on-the-ground business study abroad opportunities. As an international business economics major, you’ll develop strong connections with your professors and fellow students, and have the opportunity to publish and present original research.

Weber’s John B. Goddard School of Business & Economics is accredited by AACSB International, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. This distinction is held by fewer than 6% of all business schools.

Beyond the Classroom

In addition to your study abroad, you also have the opportunity to conduct comprehensive research with direct faculty interaction, and can publish and present your work at prestigious local and national conferences.

What You’ll Learn at Weber

As an international business economics major, you’ll gain a strong understanding of international economics with studies focusing on the emerging global economy and the problems associated with it.

After you graduate, you can make around $48,000 per year working as an international analyst, researcher, consultant, banker, asset manager, financial advisor or in a variety of other careers.
