Arts in the Parks

Weber State University’s Arts in the Parks is a free arts outreach program that offers opportunities for children to explore visual and performing arts through hands-on activities. The program travels to five different Ogden city parks for one week at a time each summer.

The program is a collaborative effort between WSU’s Telitha E. Lindquist College of Arts & Humanities, Jerri & Vicki Moyes College of Education, Center for Community Engaged Learning and Ogden City School District Child Nutrition Summer Lunch Program.

In addition to the Arts in the Parks programming, the College of Science hosts Science in the Parks throughout the summer as well. Children can attend both programs to learn about both art and science through activities and projects.
