
Thanks to generous donations, the following scholarships are available to students in the Parson Construction Management Technology program. Please see each description for application requirements.

ACI Intermountain
The ACI Intermountain Chapter awards $1,000 scholarships annually to students pursuing a career in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management. Scholarship applications are due February 11, 2011. Application can be found at http://www.aciintermountain.com/Students.html.
American Society of Professional Estimators - The Great Salt Lake Chapter 51
Recipients will receive $500 from the Great Salt Lake Chapter 51. The scholarships will be awarded to the applicant demonstrating the best performance and need. For additional information, please see visit the following link: ASPE
Ames Construction
Applicants must have a declared major in Construction Management Technology. The scholarship recipients will be chosen by the CMT program faculty based on demonstrated financial need and academic standing. Special consideration will be given to Ames Construction employees and their relatives.
Applicants must write an essay of 500-700 words describing their financial need, industry involvement, goals and ambitions in regard to pursuing a career in the construction industry. A full load is not required, but recipient must be taking a minimum of 6 hours in CMT program required courses. A minimum GPA of 3.0 in CMT program core classes is required.
Applicants must have a declared major in Construction Management Technology. The scholarship recipients will be chosen by the CMT program faculty based on demonstrated financial need and academic standing. Special consideration will be given to Cache Valley Electric employees and their relatives.

Construction Management Technology
Applicants must have sophomore status or higher status, be a declared major in Construction Management Technology and have attended Weber State for at least 1 semester. The scholarship recipients will be chosen by the CMT program faculty based on demonstrated financial need and academic standing. Special consideration will be given to those students involved in CMT student club organizations, or local construction affiliations.

James E. Kier Memorial Endowment
Applicants must have a declared major in Construction Management Technology. The scholarship recipients will be chosen by the CMT program faculty based on demonstrated financial need and academic standing.

JB Parson
The Parson award scholarships will be awarded by the CMT program faculty with preference given to outstanding students with work experience and/or expressed intention to enter the following segments of the construction industry: highway construction, earthwork, asphalt paving, ready mix concrete manufacture, or sand & gravel manufacture.
Applicants must write an essay of 500-700 words describing their financial need, industry involvement, goals and ambitions in regard to pursuing a career in the construction industry. A full load is not required, but recipient must be taking a minimum of 6 hours in CMT program required courses. A minimum GPA of 3.0 in CMT program core classes is required. The applicant will be eligible for a continuation of the scholarship if they maintain a 3.5 GPA.
Parson Family
Applicants must have a declared major in Construction Management Technology with a particular interest in concrete technology or heavy construction. The scholarship recipients will be chosen by the CMT program faculty based on demonstrated financial need and academic standing. Special consideration will be given to those students involved in CMT student club organizations, or local construction affiliations.
Applicants must write an essay of 500-700 words describing their financial need, industry involvement, goals and ambitions in regard to pursuing a career in the construction industry. A full load is not required, but recipient must be taking a minimum of 6 hours in CMT program required courses. A minimum GPA of 3.0 in CMT program core classes is required. The applicant will be eligible for a continuation of the scholarship if they maintain a 3.5 GPA.
SOS Staffing/Skill Staff Scholarship Award
Applicants must have a declared major in Construction Management Technology. The scholarship recipients will be chosen by the CMT program faculty based on demonstrated financial need and academic standing.

Wadman Corporation
Applicants must have a declared major in Construction Management Technology. The scholarship recipients will be chosen by the CMT program faculty based on demonstrated financial need and academic standing. Special consideration will be given to Wadman Corporation employees and their relatives.
