Barrett Bonella, LCSW, PhD


Barrett Bonella, LCSW, PhD, is a native of Salt Lake City. He enjoys reading, gaming, social work, and spending time with his wife and three sons. Barrett has worked in the Social Work field since 2001 when he worked as a crisis counselor for a hopital in Salt Lake City. Since then, he has worked as a psychiatric technician, therapist, instructor, research assistant, clinical supervisor, and as a clinical director. When he's not teaching, he works as a contract therapist and pursues research in the areas of mental health and criminal justice, program evaluation, improving teaching methods, and innovative use of technology in the classroom.
