Performance Opportunities

Orchesis Dance Theatre

Provides performance and production opportunities for qualified students and community members who demonstrate technical abilities in dance.  The company's activities include on-campus and dance festival concerts.  Its repertoire consists of traditional and experimental modern dances, contemporary ballets, and theatrical and performance works choreographed and directed by dance faculty, students, and well-known artists.

Weber State Moving Company

Moving Company provides Community Engaged Learning (CEL) course designation that stands for and indicates that the course involves a community engagement teaching strategy such as community-engaged research. The Moving Company performance experience engages in the creation and performance of dance works on and off campus, lecture demonstrations, and teaching opportunities in the public schools and for campus and community organizations.
