Sophie Wetherell Reed Memorial Scholarship

Mrs. Reed was the premier dance teacher in Weber County for many years and taught hundreds of students.  She also had a love for drama and music.  Her daughter, Sophie Reed Richards, established the scholarship in memory of her mother.  Daughter Sophie passed away in 1997.  She had recently graduated from WSU at the age of 70.

Requirements:  Full-time student with a GPA of at least 3.0.  Outstanding performer in one or more of the ares of Performing Arts.  Students must submit application form.  Scholarship is available to students in any of the performing arts disciplines.
