Weekend Snake River Rafting Trip

Looking to finish your summer strong? Look no further. The WSU Outdoor Program rafting trips promise big waves and big fun.  We will leave campus mid-day Friday (the exact time determined at the pre-trip meeting) and head to camp near Jackson Hole, WY in time for a hearty camp dinner.  On Saturday we will make two runs down the 8-mile Alpine Canyon section of the Snake River with rapids up to Class III.  We'll head back to camp for dinner Saturday night and then make a leisurely departure back to Ogden Sunday morning.

Mandatory Pre-Trip Meeting (WSU Outdoor Program): Tuesday, July 25, 2023

Location: Snake River, Alpine Canyon section, near Jackson Hole WY

WSU Student: $110 || WSU Staff/Faculty: $145 || General Public: $180

Skill Level: Participants must be capable of swimming in turbulent water.

Fitness Level: Moderate physical activity

Age: 18+

Transport: Will be provided with the cost of registration

Equipment Provided: All rafting and camping equipment will be provided with the cost of registration including PFD, helmet, paddle, tent, sleeping bag, etc.
