International Peer Mentor Program

This mentoring program is tailored to match international students with experienced peers to help them with cultural and academic assimilation.

Mentoring Programs

These programs offer one-on-one or group mentoring with a peer, faculty, or staff member. Students are matched with experienced mentors to provide guidance on academic and campus navigational matters.

Getting Involved in Ogden & Northern Utah

Ogden lies just north of Salt Lake City, housing a population of around 80,000 people. With a brilliant view of the mountains to the east, and the Great Salt Lake towards the west, you will love the views and activities available.


Temperature

  • In summer, Ogden can be very hot, with the hottest part of summer being July, where the average temperature is often around or above 90F (32C).
  • In the winter months, December through February, the temperature can hover around 20F(-6C), with regular snow storms.
  • Ogden has a high elevation,so the UV can be very intense. Remember to use sunscreen!
