Hasan Nezam, International Student
Hasan Nezam came to Weber State University in September of 2011 from Syria. He had no knowledge of English or U.S. customs, but decided to take the leap to come to the United States. He took one look at the beautiful, tree-filled campus and mountainous backdrop and made his decision. Weber State University was the school for him. He enrolled in an ESL class, made friends with his classmates and quickly learned to speak English. Today Hasan is two semesters away from graduating with his Bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management, works in the ESL lab and is a top student at the University.
