FTPS Filezilla Connection Tutorial
Filezilla is free software available for Windows and Mac that can be used to access your site. It can be downloaded here.
Enter your hostname. This is normally your URL. An example would be faculty.weber.edu/
yourWSUusername or departments.weber.edu/yourWSUorganization, etc.
Next, you will enter your Weber State eWeber login information. This is the same user name you use to access the Weber State eWeber Portal. Your WSU username must be preceded by "ad\". Please make sure you use the back slash and not the forward slash.
Next, you will enter your Weber State eWeber password. This is the same password you use to access the Weber State eWeber Portal.
Leave the "Port" field blank.
Next, click "Quickconnect"
If you have followed the steps correctly you will see the server connect like the example below. You can designate your local files on the left (Local site) and the right side (Remote site) are the files on the server. To update files on the server you can drag files from the local site to the remote site to overwrite files on the server.
If you have any questions or have problems connecting, please call the IT service desk at 801-626-7777.
