“A small school seemed synonymous with a lame school, but I was very wrong! Small school means far more opportunities and easier avenues of success. You get to know your professors and classmates faster & better. Weber State gives you the recognition you deserve.”
WHY WEBER STATE?
I was hesitant about the size. Small school seemed synonymous with lame/weak school, but I was very wrong! Small school means far more opportunities and easier avenues of success. You get to know your professors and classmates faster and far better. Weber aids you in getting acknowledged for the recognition you deserve. I felt through Weber and Goddard, I was able to get the light I as a student earned.
I always knew I wanted a career that was constantly changing, innovative and kept me on my toes. I needed a path that put me in social environments and helped keep creative juices flowing.
Go for it! There are so many directions the Goddard School can guide you through and the relationships and education you gather is unmatched. I graduated in Marketing and yet I feel so prepared for so many paths outside of Marketing.
It is okay to not know your major and that taking random classes to learn your interests will be the greatest decision you could make.
• Everyone is in the same position as you so don’t sweat it.
• Get to know your professors
• Get to know your peers
• Treat your body and mind well, college is stressful but it’s a lot worse when you don’t take time for yourself.
• Keep a small journal of tips, tricks and knowledge to look back on for reference once you graduate. You remember a lot on your own, but not nearly as much as you pay for.
