DAVID
supply chain management '23

The professors are a big part of the school. All the supply chain classes I have taken so far have been amazing. The doors with that degree are countless!

WHY WEBER STATE?

I was in the army and got injured. I was medically retired so I started attending Colorado Mesa University in Grand junction CO.  I graduated with my associates in Welding and Machining. I graduated with honors and thought I would go after my engineering degree. I didn't enjoy it so I went back into the work field.  I moved to Ogden to work as a machinist and work for 5 years for the Air Force.  My shoulder issues keep getting worse so the VA said I needed to find a new profession, and get re-trained.

WHY SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT?

I talked to 4 people that I trusted and admired and 3 of them said supply chain. The doors with that degree are countless!

INCREDIBLE ACCESS

The professors are a big part of the school.  All the supply chain classes I have taken so far have been amazing.  They make the subject matter fun.

FACULTY IMPACT

Ben Neeve has made a huge impact with how he teaches and encourages.  His excitement is contagious.
Dr Francios is another great teacher.  He can make a subject that would normally be boring and excites you and engages you in the learning process.  Plus he answers questions faster than any other professor I have ever had.

ADVICE

Open your mind and take it all in.  Look at everything and ask questions.  Do not just stick to the school required classes.  Get the as much from your education as you can.
