Step 1: Choose one ATC program

A completed Industrial Automation Maintenance Technician certification of at least 900 hours from the DATC, OWATC, or BATC will transfer to
Weber State University as a block of 25 credit hours toward the AAS Controls Technology degree.

Step 2: Complete the WSU Course Requirements for Controls Technology AAS Degree

The AAS Controls Technology degree requires 44 hours of coursework at Weber State University in Engineering Technology that can be completed in four semesters.

Required Engineering Technology Courses (23 credit hours)

Required Support Course (25 credit hours)

Students must complete the Industrial Automation Maintenance certification consisting of at least 900 hours at the collaborating ATCs:  DATC, OWATC, BATC.  The certificate will transfer as a block of 25 credit hours toward the Controls Technology degree.

Required General Education Courses (21 credit hours)
