What is STEM?
Designing better solar panels, measuring air quality, energy and sustaining practices, monitoring wildlife - these all begin with the foundational scientific questions and require processes learned through STEM education in order to find answers that will change and improve the lives of all.
STEM stands for Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics.
College of Science programs are all STEM degrees and lets employers know that you work hard, you appreciate a good challenge that requires you to be a critical thinker and dedicated problem solver. Over 30% of the jobs in Northern Utah will be STEM-related in the coming years. The current forecast is that we will not have enough skilled workers to fill all of these jobs.
