  Who is eligible?

  • Students who are participating in an internship.
  • This includes students who are also participating in…
    • Clinical Rotations
    • Student Teaching
    • Cooperative Education
    • Practicums

  
  What is the time commitment?
  Typically one full semester, but it varies depending on your internship arrangement.

  
  How do I participate in this HIEE?

  • Sign up for an “INT” (Internship) course and complete an internship
  • OR show proof that you completed a non-credited internship on your own.

  
  What information will I verify in GivePulse? Information about your internship such as the company name and location, and whether or not you received course credit.

  
  What should I include in my ePortfolio? Reflect on your internship experience, which skills you developed, and how this experience will propel you forward. Also, if you completed any noteworthy projects, try to include something that showcases what you did.

  
  Can this HIEE be repeated?
  Yes. You may complete this activity up to 3 times (but only once per Level) for Wildcat Advantage credit. However, we encourage you to take advantage of a variety of HIEEs during your time at WSU.

CDEV, which stands for Career Development, is designed to provide students with an opportunity to learn and apply career development principles throughout their Weber State experience. By building your own individual CDEV experience, you will be prepared for next-step success in all career industries!

  • Artifacts that demonstrate what you learned through completing the CDEV activities. 

   

  Can this HIEE be repeated?

  • No, but you may participate in CDEV for Programs or CDEV for Courses. Each CDEV experience should include new learning and artifacts. (CDEV may only be completed once per Level for Wildcat Advantage credit.) However, we encourage you to take advantage of a variety of HIEEs during your time at WSU.
