Nutrition Education

Learn all aspects of nutrition, from diet design to current issues, and prepare for graduate studies or a wide range of careers.

The nutrition education faculty members have made the highest commitment to providing students with quality academic experiences. Our curriculum develops diverse skills, knowledge, and competencies in the area of nutrition.

Bachelor's Degree

Our bachelor’s in nutrition education prepares you for graduate studies or a variety of career options. It’s also the only nutrition education major in Utah with options to concentrate in integrative nutrition or sports nutrition.

Leave WSU as an expert in diet and nutrition. Our nutrition education minor offers knowledge and skills to complement majors in health promotion, exercise and sport science, psychology, chemistry, early childhood education, family studies and many other areas of study.

How to Become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)

Your WSU bachelor’s degree in nutrition education with an emphasis in sports nutrition and completion of additional suggested courses prepares you for graduate programs that provide knowledge and training for the Registered Dietician examination.
