Dr. Gloria Wurst (1995)

“I was honored to receive the Hinckley Fellowship award in 1995 in large part because it is an award for which one is nominated and chosen by colleagues. It is very gratifying to have people I admire for their accomplishments take the time to formalize similar thoughts about me. At the time I received the fellowship, I was interested in establishing two scholarships for WSU students, and so I passed along my award monies to the Patti O’Neal Scholarship in Dance and the Women’s Studies Traditional Scholarship Funds. This spring (2000) both scholarships reached the endowment level and students have begun to receive funds, providing me a second opportunity to be grateful to the Hinckley family.”
