Dr. Ronald Mano (1994)

“I am pleased to be recognized along with the other outstanding Hinckley Scholars. I believe that all professors need to seek to be well-rounded in all areas of academia. That includes, first and foremost, being an excellent teacher. However, teaching alone is not sufficient. An outstanding academic needs to be active in scholarly activities including research. He/she also needs to be active professionally. We can add so much to our own professions that we need to be involved with the professional community. The generous support of the Hinckley family has been a major impetus to encouraging all faculty to be involved in these three areas of academic activity. Thanks so much to the Hinckley family for this much appreciated recognition and support of the Weber State University family.”
