KWCR Announces 'Hope for the Holidays'

KWCR 88.1 FM is holding two fundraisers in coming weeks, with proceeds benefiting the Ogden Rescue Mission. "Hope for the Holidays" will include a canned food drive on Nov. 14 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at the Macey's (325 E. 36th St.) grocery store in Ogden, as well as a benefit concert the evening of Nov. 21 at The Basement (329 24th St., Ogden), an all-ages music venue.

Cover charge for the concert is $5 and will feature music from The Gorgeous Hussies, Champion Theory, the Blu Storks and Charging Frederick. All proceeds will be donated to the Ogden Rescue Mission.
