Community Invited to WSU Halloween Carnival

OGDEN, Utah – Little Wildcats, or kids in costumes of any kind, are welcome at the annual Weber State University Halloween Carnival, Oct. 26 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in the WSU Davis Building 3 ballroom (2750 University Park Blvd., Layton).

Ghosts and goblins will enjoy trick-or-treating and a variety of other activities, including Halloween crafts, games, face painting and balloon art. The family friendly activities are geared to children age 10 and under. Food trucks will also be available for families to purchase lunch or a snack.

The event, now in its fifth year, was originally held at the Layton Hills Mall, but quickly outgrew that space and was moved to WSU Davis to accommodate the large crowds. The carnival attracts over 2,000 attendees each year.

Families are encouraged to explore the campus and learn about the many opportunities and services offered at WSU Davis.

Students at WSU Davis can earn degrees or certificates in 22 programs, including six master’s degrees and seven bachelor’s degrees in nursing, construction management technology, family studies, respiratory therapy, interior design, information systems and criminal justice.
