Dean Simonian Elected to National Board
Yasmen Simonian, dean of the Dr. Ezekiel R. Dumke College of Health Professions at Weber State University, has been elected to the Executive Board of Directors of the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS).
Simonian will serve a three-year term that began in September. NAACLS is committed to being the premier international agency for accreditation and approval of educational programs in the clinical laboratory sciences and related health professions.
Prior to being named dean in 2008, Simonian served as professor and chair of WSU’s Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences.
