Long-time Grateful Dead Publicist to Speak at WSU

Author and long-time Grateful Dead publicist Dennis McNally will speak at WSU on Oct. 13 at 7 p.m. in the Kimball Visual Arts Center Lindquist Lecture Hall. 

In addition to spending two decades with the legendary band, McNally is the author of the critically acclaimed books “A Long Strange Trip: The Inside History of the Grateful Dead” and “A Desolate Angel: Jack Kerouac, The Beat Generation and America.” 

The event is presented by the office of the Provost, Lindquist College of Arts & Humanities, Honors Program and the Department of English.

McNally’s presentation, “Long Strange Trip: My Life with the Grateful Dead,” is free and open to the public.
