WSU Students Plan ‘WeberTown,’ Music Festival with Ogden City

OGDEN, Utah – DUE TO WEATHER, THE FOLLOWING EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED. The Weber State University Student Association, in partnership with Ogden City and Seventy3 Creative, invites the community to the second annual WeberTown music festival, April 26 at 6 p.m. The festival will be held at the Ogden Amphitheater and is free to the public.

WeberTown will feature both local and touring artists from a wide variety of musical genres to appeal to all audiences — from college students to families and children. The festival will also have prizes and food. A dance party, featuring DJ Marcus Wing, will follow from 10:30 to 11:30 p.m.

“The goal of this event is to further the unity and partnership between Ogden City and the university and to enhance the Ogden College Town initiative,” said David Wilson, WSU student body president.

The festival, which occurs the day after WSU’s graduation, will be a chance for students to relax and enjoy the community and its many amenities.

 “We appreciate the opportunity to bring the Weber State community to our downtown,” said Richard Hyer, Ogden City Council chair. “This is a great opportunity for college students and residents alike to gather and enjoy music by our local artists.”

The WeberTown Festival will run from 6-10:30 p.m. and includes the following performers, in order of appearance, with a link to a sample of their music.
