Women’s History Lecture Focuses on Queen Elizabeth I

OGDEN, Utah – Carole Levin, the Willa Cather professor of history at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, will speak March 24 in conjunction with Weber State University’s observance of Women’s History Month.
Levin’s presentation, “Princess Elizabeth Travels about Her Kingdom in Life, in Text, and On Stage,” is part of WSU’s History Lecture Series.
The event will take place from 1:30-3:30 p.m. in the Lindquist Alumni Center on WSU’s Ogden Campus
and is free to the public.
Levin has taught at Nebraska – Lincoln since 1998. She is an early modern English historian who specializes in cultural history and women’s history. She is the author of numerous books and articles.
