MBA Alumni Reach Out to Local Youth
February 19, 2008
OGDEN, Utah – Alumni from Weber State University's master of business administration program recently donated much-needed materials to two local organizations.
The MBA Alumni Association donated commercial-grade appliances to Youth Impact for use in its kitchen. Youth Impact is a local organization that provides an after-school safe haven for 150 at-risk youth in Ogden. The association also donated 20 new violins to Ogden School District music programs, including the strings program at Dee Elementary School and the mariachi band and theater programs at Ogden High School. An official presentation to the Ogden School District is scheduled for Feb. 21 at Dee Elementary School (550 22nd St., Ogden) at 1:30 p.m.
Each year, the MBA Alumni Association donates to local community causes as part of its community outreach efforts. For more information, call 801-395-3528.
