Celebrate Valentine’s Day with “Penguins”
OGDEN, Utah – The Weber State University Environmental Club will host a free presentation of the film “March of the Penguins,” Feb. 14 at 6:30 p.m. in the Shepherd Union Wildcat Room.Event organizers believe the film is a great date movie for Valentine’s Day because it “depicts one of nature’s most romantic relationships in the one of the Earth’s harshest climates.” The film is free to the public.
The club will hold a fundraising sale in conjunction with the film screening. Canvas tote bags, compact fluorescent light bulbs and other environmentally friendly items will be available for purchase. Proceeds from the sale will support the club’s recycling initiatives, and environmental education and energy conservation outreach efforts.
