ThanksGIVING Event
Thank you for supporting our ThanksGIVING fundraising event this holiday season! Check out some of the ways you can support our college community.
Richard Richards Ethics Scholarship
A generous donor will MATCH all donations dollar for dollar to this student scholarship through April 2024. The Richard Richard Ethics Scholarship assists ethically-minded students with tuition, fees, books and other educational costs.
Department of History Food Pantry
During these tough economic times, students and their families often suffer from food insecurity. The Department of History Food Pantry is located in Lindquist Hall 272, where it provides food and hygiene supplies for WSU students in need.
Russ Dean Memorial Scholarship
Earlier this year, we lost retired criminal justice assistant professor Russ Dean. He had an enormous impact on our WSU community and in the community at large. This scholarship was created in his honor to support WSU CSI students.
Archaeological Field School
At archaeological field school, students learn field methods used by archaeologists in industry, including survey, site recording and excavation. In 2024, students will participate in new mapping and testing of the Colby Mammoth site, a 12,800 year-old mammoth kill site in Big Horn Basin, Wyoming.
Walker Institute Speaker Series
Each year, the Olene S. Walker Institute of Politics & Public Service brings high-profile speakers to the WSU campus, with one of the highlights in 2023 being well-known American journalist George Will. Support the Walker Institute's efforts to continue these events by donating to the Walker Institute Speaker Series.
Paleoenvironmental Laboratory
This new lab would provide opportunities for students to work with faculty to perform paleoclimate or paleoenvironmental research. This hands-on experience would give students a clear advantage when applying to graduate programs across the country. Donate to support the creation of this laboratory.
