Diane Neri Stern
After graduating from UC Santa Cruz with a BA in Theater Design and Technology Diane spent happy years free-lancing as a costume and set designer in the Bay Area. She has worked as a dance company business manager, a costume studio manager, adjunct professor, designer, director of a university fine arts series and mother. She served as the Director of the WSU Cultural Affairs Series for 15 years, chaired Utah Presenters-Utah’s state consortium of performing arts presenters-for three terms and has also served on the grant review board for WESTAF (Western States Touring Arts Federation), for the Utah state grant review committee and the Western Arts Alliance Dance adjudication committee. She was on the Weber Pathways board for several years and is a past chair of that organization and is the founding chair of the Weber Arts Council. Diane served for two years as Ogden City’s Arts Coordinator while they developed a master plan for arts and culture for the city. She and her husband, choreographer Erik Stern, have two fine sons, Walker, and Cole. Diane is grateful to return to the beautiful world of costumes for dance.
