Classroom Projects

Many classroom-based projects/research may require an IRB approval.
Please review the WSU Guidelines for Classroom Research Projects (Adopted 12/2005) for information and instructions.

IRB Training.  At WSU, the Principal Investigator for student projects is always the faculty advisor.  Therefore, every professor whose student submits an IRB application for review must complete a Human Subjects training course and attach a copy of his/her certificate of completion to the student's IRB application.  This computer-based tutorial provides information about the IRB as well as research ethics in general.  You can access this computer-based training course from the "Human Subjects Training" link located on the purple bar to your left.
