Weber State University’s compensation program has been designed to enable the university to attract, retain and engage the highly qualified talent required to achieve its mission and strategic plan.
Our intention is to provide competitive total compensation with consideration for:
- market conditions,
- skills, knowledge and expertise of the individual, and
- internal roles within the university
while being fiscally responsible.
Weber State University has very wide pay scales. New employees are generally paid within the first quartile. Only in extremely rare situations are new staff members hired at or near the top of the range.
