Welcome to the Health Sciences Department in the Dr. Ezekiel R. Dumke College of Health Professions. Our department provides the prerequisite health sciences classes for some of the top health professions programs in the country. In addition to anatomy and physiology, we deliver courses in medical terminology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, biocalculations, and case studies. These classes are delivered in several educational formats, including face-to-face, online, concurrent enrollment, and independent study to meet your needs and schedule.
The Department of Health Sciences offers an Associate of Science Degree in Health Sciences. This degree provides you the opportunity to complete a full associate degree, which includes the prereqisites for all the health profession programs at Weber State University. To further help personalize your academic experience, you can choose a degree track. Our offered tracks include: General, Dental Hygiene, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Nursing, Radiologic Sciences, and Respiratory Therapy.
