OSHA & NIOSH Courses: Keep Your Workforce Safe & Your Organization Compliant
The Rocky Mountain Center for Occupational and Environmental Health (RMCOEH) Continuing Education Program is run through Weber State University. The program continues its 40-year history of providing hundreds of occupational safety and health programs. Weber State aims to further the RMCOEH’s tradition of high standards, continual improvement, and quick adaptation. Our continuing education courses, regarding Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) and National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH) subjects, are tailored to reduce organizations’ health and financial costs. If you are an industrial hygienist, safety professional, ergonomist, occupational health nurse, occupational medicine physician, or if you fulfill another role that oversees the health and safety of your workplace, we’re here to help.
Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety Bachelor of Integrated Studies Program
As part of a collaboration with the University of Utah, WSU offers courses in OEHS as part of the Bachelor of Integrated Studies program. This effort allows students to attend classes at both WSU and the University of Utah, creating opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration with other students. The program provides a pathway for certification as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) by helping graduates achieve an intermediate credential as a Graduate Safety Practitioner (GSP), a significant step in obtaining the CSP.
Occupational Heath Nursing Program
RMCOEH’s Occupational Health Nursing (OHN) program provides the education and skills needed to take advantage of the tremendous career options available in this discipline, including leadership and management opportunities.
