Mask Anxiety

 

In this time of COVID-19, many challenges have emerged. One of the most difficult, for some, is the use of face masks. Currently, Weber State University requires face mask use for all faculty, staff, students, and visitors while indoors at all university locations, with limited exceptions.

Mask Anxiety Resources

For individuals struggling with anxiety and/or trauma associated with masks, the idea of using masks or seeing others wearing masks can be difficult. If this is an issue for you or if you know of someone in need of support regarding this issue, please check out the following resources:

TAO

For more support, please register for Therapy Assistance Online (TAO), a program of mental health self-help modules that can assist you in addressing various symptoms and learning new ways of coping. TAO is available for free to all Weber State students, anytime, anywhere.
