The 2012/2013 season was nothing short of spectacular for Weber State Bowling.  With only two returning bowlers from the previous season (Shaun Reeve and Andrew Wood), no one knew what was to be expected from Wildcat squad.  Joining the team this year was Kameron Wight, Chris Hughs, Tyler Norris, and Brett Aldridge. These four first year players turned out to be the key for Wildcat success.  The season started out with two tournaments in Albuquerque in September where the team finished 5th (out of 9) and had great individual performances by Chris (7th) and Tyler (10th), who both averaged well over 200.  The team then traveled to Vegas in December where they finished 24th (out of 36) in the Collegiate Shootout and 20th (out of 35) in the Las Vegas Invitational.  Next stop was Phoenix in January.  The team finished in 3rd (out of 6) the first day and 6th (out of 7) the second day with an great performance by the team captain, Shaun Reeve.  Shaun won the Individual Match Points award and averaged over 200 for the weekend.  It was back to Vegas at the end of January for the Sin City and Rebel Invitational.  The team out matched their rivals (ASU) the first day and finished 6th (out of 13) with the teams anchor bowler, Chris, averaging 225 on the day for a very solid 3rd place individual finish.  The team finished off the weekend with a 11th place (out of 15) finish on Sunday.  It was then off to Reno in February to host the High Sierra Classic and the last regular season tournament of the year.  The team had their best tournament of the year finishing 3rd (out of 6) and leading the tournament by over 150 total pins on Saturday. Shaun also had a great individual tournament by averaging 233 for the 7 games and winning his first ever individual collegiate title.  What a way to cap off a great senior season for Shaun!  The team finished in 3rd (out of 6) on Sunday again with another great individual performance by Chris averaging 222 on the day. The team qualified for Sectional competition in Vegas and finished 13th out of a very tough field of 20 of the best collegiate programs in the Nation.  Chris had a terrific rookie season averaging 201.5 and finishing 21st in the Nation out of the rookies. Tyler also had a great rookie season averaging 199.9 and finishing in the top 25 of the rookie ranks. Weber on 3...... 1.... 2... 3.... WEBER!!!
