CLASS NOTES

Ralph P. Vander Heide ’57 taught German and Spanish at the high school and university levels and is also fluent in Dutch. He received an outstanding alumni award from the Telitha E. Lindquist College of Arts & Humanities and was appointed to serve on the college’s advisory committee. Ralph spent 10 years accrediting schools in the U.S. and several foreign countries. He and his wife, Judith Howell, who attended Weber State from 1969 to 1970, live in Ogden. They jointly published a novel titled Chris and Louisa. Judith was a teacher and high school guidance counselor in New York.
