The Women’s Center collaborates with WSU Women & Gender Studies during Women’s History Month. Historically, Women & Gender Studies plan and organize speakers and a video series. The Women’s Center sponsors an open house, student events/activities and a women’s history month newsletter.

Purpose: To educate students on campus in regards to women throughout history who have made a difference, celebrate the women of today who are strong leaders and recognize the achievement of women on campus and in the community.

    The purpose of this event is to explore the history of women in the military, expand on the physical expectations of the front line and discuss how women in infantry, since allowing them to join in 2013, could affect the U.S. military. Students who attend this event should leave with a greater understanding of how women influence the military and current perspectives of women in the militia
