West Testing Center

Academic Support at the WSU West Center offers a range of services open to all Weber State University students. Whether or not you are taking classes at the West Center, these services will help you reach your full potential.

What tests are available?

The West Testing Center offers tests for academic coursework at WSU as well as ACCUPLACER placement testing for math and English.  For ACCUPLACER testing you must arrive 1 hour prior to the posted closing time.

Many WSU tests available on the Chi Tester can be taken at the center. You do not have to attend classes at the WSU West Center to use our testing center facility.

Both Chi Tester tests and pencil-and-paper tests are available at the instructor's discretion. Check your syllabus or ask your professor whether or not a particular exam is available at the West Testing Center.

Can I reserve a time to take my Chi Tester exam?

Reservations are no longer needed or available at the Testing Center. Just come in at the time you would like to take your test.

What do I need to take a test?
  • Bring your picture ID. Acceptable forms of ID include a WildCat card or other university's ID, a government-issued ID (driver license, military ID, or passport), or a hospital ID.
  • Know your Weber State University student number (your W number).
  • Breaks are not allowed during testing unless specified by the instructor. Take care of personal needs before entering the testing center.
  • To save time, come early during the time the test is open.  Many students are likely to be testing on the day the test closes.
