WSU's Web Servers provide colleges, departments, organizations, faculty and staff space to create content. Note: Student websites are provided through classes teaching web development.
WSU provides web sites and several tools to use to develop and edit sites along with training through the Training Tracker (register through the WSU Portal) .
Content Management System - This system is accessed through the WSU Portal and includes web editing tools. The url (address) for these sites will be prefaced with http://weber.edu/
Other sites can be created on various web servers. The url (address) for these sites will be prefaced with http://departments.weber.edu/, http://faculty.weber.edu, http://programs.weber.edu, etc.
WSU provided editing tools:
MS Expression Web - Web site authoring program for Windows. Replacing MS FrontPage available to Faculty and Staff through a network install. For information on accuiring Expression Web and install instructions go to http://weber.edu/software
Adobe DreamWeaver - Web site authoring program for Windows and Mac using FTP access. Available to access through WSU's Virtual Lab or to purchase http://weber.edu/software.
