We assist students in overcoming barriers to enrollment and provide on-going support to meet their academic goals. The staff of Services for Women Students is committed to respect for diversity and advocacy for all.

Goals and Objectives

• To provide information, resources, and assistance to individual women on matters of equal opportunity and gender equity, and to provide programmatic response to the needs of the same population.

• To create and implement strategies that promote the status of women on campus and in the community.

• To engage university women in programs and activities that stimulate and empower participation within the university and community by fully utilizing skills and abilities and fulfilling aspirations.

• To maintain a visible and accessible location and a supportive environment where women can be encouraged in dialogue, exchange viewpoints, and find assistance.

• To conduct continuous assessment and evaluation of services to meet the changing needs of the University and the community.

• To provide opportunities for leadership development and skills enhancement through mentorship and program expansion.
