General Education by Catalog Year
Make sure you are working toward completion of the requirements for an unexpired catalog year. Each catalog expires in 3 years for an associate’s degree and 6 years for a bachelor’s degree. In addition to declaring a degree and a major (and a minor for some students), you need to declare a catalog year. The default catalog year is usually the year you started at Weber. 2001-09 (2001-02, 2002-03, 2003-04, 2004-05, 2005-06, 2006-07, 2007-08, 2008-09) Catalog year expires for an associate's degree every 3 years; catalog year expires for a bachelor's degree every 6 years
- Complete all general education requirements
- Complete Diversity requirement (except AAS degree)
- Complete Scientific Inquiry for Bachelor of Science degree
- Complete Foreign Language requirement for Bachelor of Arts degree
1999-2000 Catalog expired for associate's degree in August 2003; Catalog expired for bachelor's degree in August 2006
- Complete all general education requirements
- Complete Scientific Inquiry for Bachelor of Science degree
- Complete Foreign Language requirement for Bachelor of Arts degree
1998-99 Catalog expired for associate's degree in August 2002; catalog expired for bachelor's degree in August 2005
- Complete all general education requirements except Computer and Information Literacy
- Complete Scientific Inquiry for Bachelor of Science degree
- Complete Foreign Language requirement for Bachelor of Arts degree
1996-98 Catalog expired for associate's degree in August 2001; catalog expired for bachelor's degree in August 2004
