Student Success Center - General Studies Session

If you are a new freshman...

Sign up for Weber State University’s New Student Orientation.
At Orientation, you will take a tour of campus, learn important University policies and major and/or minor requirements, get help registering for classes, and have ample time to work with an academic advisor.

If you are seeking an Associate Degree In General Studies…

Academic advisors in the Student Success Center advise students on the Associate Degree in General Studies. If you are unable to attend a New Student Orientation, or if none are being offered in the near future, then you can attend a General Studies Session either in-person or online.

In-person General Studies Sessions are offered Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m. and Thursdays at 9:00 a.m. Call the Student Success Center to sign up.

The online session has short sections that answer the most important questions you need answered to get started on the General Studies degree at Weber State University. It should take no longer than 30 minutes.

If you are not seeking an Associate Degree in General Studies…

Contact your academic advisor as requirements differ for different majors.
